In July 2026 they ran from yogurt at $1.55 per 8-ounce container up to ice cream at $5.84 per half gallon, with 3 items costing more than a month earlier and 4 items costing less.

The biggest monthly increase came from butter, up 2.8%. Going the other way, cheddar cheese fell 3.7%. Over the past year eggs stands out, down 39.2% from twelve months ago.
